Austin City Guide 2014 – NXNW Restaurant & Brewery

AFBA City Guide 2014

Located in Northwest Austin’s shopping district, NXNW is a solid restaurant offering up classic American dishes and makes my city guide list. With a stellar gluten-free menu for both lunch and dinner, diners are not relegated to just a salad, although the Pan Seared Salmon or Sirloin Salads are solid choices.  Lunch prices range from $10 – $13 for entrees; Dinner entrees range from $12 – $20 (my favorite is the Smoked Pork Tenderloin).  And yes. . . . you even have a choice of more than one gluten-free dessert!

NXNW

Family friendly for sure, also be sure to check out NXNW many events.  They have one of the best St. Patrick’s Day parties in town!  For those beer loving friends dining with you, NXNW has a on site brewery. The Brewery Tower is a prominent feature along with the NXNW grain silos and has a functioning silo full of 25,000 lbs. of barley – the major component of the beer-making process. All the beers at NXNW are brewed right on site inside the Tower.  NXNW also has a great wine and cocktail menu to go with any of the gluten-free dishes you order up.
