Chef Johnny Iuzzini, a James Beard award-winning pastry chef, Judge on Bravo’s Just Desserts, and cookbook author of Dessert Fourplay and one of the Fall’s most anticipated cookbooks, Sugar Rush, released in September, will be here in Austin November 6th! As part of Macy’s Culinary Council, Chef Johnny Iuzzini will be whipping up some of his award-winning recipes to get you prepared for the holiday season!
As a self-proclaimed “fan girl” of Chef Johnny Iuzzini’s work, he’s trained and worked under some of the best chefs in New York, including Daniel Boulud, François Payard, and Jean Georges. One of the things I love so much about Chef Iuzzini’s cookbook Dessert Fourplay is that the recipes are simple and easy to replicate, regardless if you’re a beginning baker or advanced in your pasty/baking skills. In his new book Sugar Rush, Iuzzini provides the same, with recipes that will take you from custards, cakes, cookies and biscuits to glazes, sauces and more, teaching you how to perfectly execute each recipe successfully, giving you a mastery of skill rush all your own!
