Having Celiac’s disease and/or being gluten intolerant can be tough if you’re not sure which grocery stores carry gluten-free products.  Well you’re in luck, as HEB just published its latest list of gluten-free products in their October 2010 HEB Texas Life Monthly Savings & Fresh Ideas magazine (available at all Texas HEB stores).

Ranging from baked goods, power bars, pasta, and snacks, HEB is clearly committed to developing their gluten-free product lines and making it easy for customers/shoppers to easily identify gluten-free products with their “gluten-free” icon (these products are “free of any wheat, barley, rye, Triticale or any Triticum species such as spelt or kamut“).

You will be surprised as I was when I switched to a gluten-free diet (not really a diet, it’s a lifestyle).  You can still have some of your favorite meals and desserts and with the ever-expanding line of gluten-free products coming out, it’s only going to get better!
